The client brief for this East Fremantle home included a full landscape, turfing and hardscape to compliment the new build. Working from the supplied design, we commenced by creating street front appeal and a sense of open space to soften the strong architectural form of the building. This was achieved with a simple, low maintenance planting scheme, that utilised the imposing elevation,  and created screening and privacy from the adjoining homes.

The rear of the home needed some definition of the outdoor spaces, so limestone retaining walls and plantings were added to create visual interest, and define the grassed courtyard area and garden beds. The garden was deliberately created to require very little maintenance, using carefully selected hardy Australian natives, perfect for the sandy soil conditions. Lawn and reticulation  was installed, along with drip sprays for the garden beds. The project was completed well within deadline and to budget, and  completely exceeded the client's expectations!
